Arthur S. Taylor Memorial Award – Best attendance at council meetings

Art Taylor, who was a member of the Boston Chapter, was the founding father of the NorthEast Regional Council, though he never served as President (or Principle back then). The award was named in his honor during Joe Vincent's year (1992-93), and is given to the council chapter that has the best attendance at council meetings by chapter representatives.

Russ Jones Memorial Award – Highest finish in Chapter Competition (in each division)

Russ Jones was from Waterbury and would have been the first General Chair of an NERC conference. He planned to donate this trophy to the council. Unfortunately, Russ passed away before he had a chance to purchase the trophy, so Art Taylor did so on his behalf. The trophy is awarded each year to the council chapter that finishes highest in the chapter competition.
