      FULL-TIME FCE EMPLOYEE PLACEMENT

 PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:

 

  1. Primary focus on improving management reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes.

  2. Select and implement new budgeting system (evaluating Cognos Planning currently).

  3. Foster and expand use of Business Intelligence tool Cognos. 

  4. Analyze and communicate financial performance vs. budget in the monthly and quarterly reporting of results to management.  Identify drivers, risks and opportunities along with action plans to drive business performance.

  5. Drive the annual budget, capital budget and periodic forecasts.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  Education:   BS in Finance or Accounting; MBA and/or IT background a plus                                                               

 

  Experience: 

 

·         Seeking a leader with internal financial reporting and planning experience in a complex manufacturing, contract or service business; preferably an OEM with installation and aftermarket service operations.

·         Championed or had a significant role in implementing or maximizing the use of:

o   ERP/Manufacturing/Project systems (Oracle, Artemis, PRMS), and

o   Data reporting, data warehouse and analysis/consolidation tools (Cognos, Hyperion).

·         Demonstrated experience coordinating user, IT and financial requirements and action to meet internal reporting requirements.

·         Multi-location, multi-business line experience.

·         Corporate or consulting/public accounting and corporate mix.

·         Ability to drive input and action across a matrix organization.

·         Superior Microsoft platform skills (Excel, Power Point, Access) as well as oral and written communication.

POSITION:              Executive Director, Global Sales, Regional Sales & RM, EMEA

The Opportunity The Executive Director, Sales and Relationship Management-EMEA will report directly to the Managing Director, Sales & Relationship Management  (who reports to the CEO)  and will  serve as an active member of the Company’s Global Leadership Team.  He/she will be responsible for leading, guiding and managing the EMEA Sales and Account Management team with accountability for achieving regional revenue and growth targets, while executing against global sales initiatives.  The incumbent will continue to build and expand our regional presence while working closely with functional management to coordinate global accounts.  He/she will Partner with key leaders internally and externally to build long-term trust and customer loyalty, and to drive the Company’s commercial development with focus on EMEA.
Essential Duties

*  Lead Sales/RM team to achieve revenue growth targets & other goals and objectives

*  Develop and execute against regional plan

*  Lead design & create account strategies & account plans for regional clients

*  Ensure regional Sales & RM structure/capabilities are aligned with global structure

*  Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization

*  Evaluate marketplace & growth opportunities & partner with key company stakeholders

   (e.g. Global Sales and Relationship Management, Global Alliance Group, 

   Client Operations/Integration, Product Management, & Marketing) to identify,

    assess and establish/implement plans to expand revenue:

   *  Attend/participate in relevant industry conferences; as company spokesperson, provide

   leadership & executive presence in the marketplace

*  Build/instill among team members a proactive revenue expansion mindset and culture

*  Ensure the “voice of the client” regarding internal decisions effecting the region;

   play key role in influencing/driving Company’s product strategies relating to EMEA region

*  Mentor, train & recruit EMEA sales & relationship managers

*  Set goals consistent with company objectives

*  Create/manage regional budget (out of budget expenditures will require approval)

*  Team personnel decisions including selection, performance management & compensation

Staff Responsibility

Current indirect EMEA staff of 16 including 2 directors Sales and Relationship Management

Qualifications

*  Sales management experience (EMEA) preferably with a global vendor

   (STP partner a plus) or an investment operations outsourcer, or a member of our client

    segment (investment managers, broker/dealers and custodian banks).

 

Functional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Experienced leader of a successful sales/relationship management team

  • Established track record for delivering against sales targets

  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of financial markets with a specific focus on back office (or post-trade) operations in financial institutions

  • Excellent understanding of solution selling and sales process; strategic capabilities

  • Client Relationship development capabilities; commercial mindset

*  College Degree required; MBA (or equivalent) in Finance or Marketing a plus
